Play and learn in ASEAN Bloggers Festival

Me me me!!
I am Vietnamese and have been living in Thailand for almost 4 years. In Vietnam, I am a popular writer with two books and one co-authored 10-volume series under my belt. In Thailand, I am a full-time Social Media Manager working for Ford Motor. My most favorite hobby is travel. Sometimes it’s just a weekend at the beach or wandering around the colorful Bangkok. Sometimes it’s a really long trip to some countries in ASEAN, Asia, Europe or the USA. Traveling always makes my mind dance in surprises, thoughts and ideas. The inspirations come from any sources. It could be the people, a piece of sculpture, a landscape or skyscape, an old or new building, a pavement, a long walk, a purple flower under the yellow light of one street lamp, etc.

ASEAN. Solo. Tourism. – That’s why I want to attend ASEAN Blogger Festival!!
Winning a chance to attend ASEAN Bloggers Festival is a lucrative investment in the future. To welcome the remarkable year 2015 with the ASEAN Community, bloggers and social media influencers will become one of the strongest forces to connect ASEAN countries. Thanks to the fast-paced growth of technology and internet, it’s now so easy for us to share and exchange ideas, to speak and listen, to get more people involved in good acts. With our voices and influence, we are able to spread the understandings and knowledge to the communities. We are the media of people and for people.

The ASEAN Bloggers Festival will be a fascinating event for me to meet and build connection with social media influencers from all over ASEAN. When in the beautiful Solo, we will get to talk to each other, exchange points of view, experience and achievements. We will have fun finding the similarities and the differences among ASEAN cultures. And having fun together is the ideal context to create long-lasting relationships.

With my passion for travelling, I would love to visit Solo. Beside Jakarta, I have never been to any other parts of Indonesia. From my research, Solo seems to be a wonderful place to enjoy, learn and interact with Indonesian culture and friends, expanding my knowledge and personal perception about Indonesia and other ASEAN nations. I am so excited thinking about all the findings and pretty photos I will take in Solo to write about this place, introducing it to my Thai and Vietnamese friends and followers. Moreover, during the festival, I can show people more about Vietnam, my home country with many UNESCO-listed cultural and natural heritages. Vietnam has not done much in tourism marketing, and that’s why I want to learn from others’ achievements and receive advices for my future contributions to my country.

ASEAN countries have so much to offer. The wondrous landscapes, friendly people, beautiful cultures, awesome food – This unique diversity is ASEAN’s most precious treasure. We, ASEAN people, still have lots to do to promote our region, and at the same time we need to preserve the heritages that have been well kept for generations. Nothing can bear the cost of cultural and natural diminution. How should we do this? Let’s discuss in the festival and come up with brilliant solutions. Afterwards we can blog about our ideas to gather more people to involve.
